Purple Door Music Academy is Edmonton's music school for those students interested in taking voice and piano lessons from accredited and accomplished professional studio teachers. We offer private one-on-one lessons in-person and online, as well as provide an option for group singing lessons once current restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic relax. Our students range from school age children just beginning their musical journey, to teenagers exploring their creativity and expressive outlets, to young adults preparing auditions for pre-professional programs to adults and seniors who just like to make music.
Our instructors are all accredited, professional musicians with a wealth of experience both performing and teaching. Students develop proper vocal and piano technique and musicianship skills while working on material that is appropriate for their age and relevant to their musical development. Music literacy and the development of listening skills is emphasized, along with a healthy dose of fun! Quality music education is our inspiration!
